P.S. I loved, loved, LOVED your comments and suggestions on my post about needing fashion advice. I'm inspired. THANK YOU. Maybe I will do a follow up when I buy some new pieces and start to update my wardrobe. Good jeans are first on my list. For now, I have recruited my sister to come over tonight and help me sort through the clothes I already have. In the past I've made a lot of mistakes during this awkward post baby phase. So I'm trying to be patient before I make any fancy purchases.
Have a fun-loving weekend!
Sweet pictures of a special/crazy time in your life. I think one day you will TREASURE these. :)Great job at capturing special "normal" moments!
ReplyDeleteFun and crazy!! Your kids are adorable!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE the quote! And, I would feel incredibly at home in your house. You're such a kindred spirit!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of your "mission field." I commented to an older lady the other day, "I sometimes wonder if I am serving Jesus in the right ways...." and she was quick to remind me that my mission field was most definitely under my own roof.
ReplyDeleteSo I pass along a blessing to you, do not grow weary of planting the seeds of the redemption story in the hearts and minds of your children, making sure they hear the name of Jesus spoken every day, teaching them to pray, smiling and assuring them of the joy they bring to your home (in spite of sometimes feeling they actually DRAIN us in a myriad of ways!) May God bless you and give you great JOY in your mothering!
(and also to Capt. Steve, may he be your hero, your knight in shining armor who comes to your rescue and reminds you "PTL, I don't have to do this alone!!"
what a fantastic quote! i will need to remember that daily! i am a nanny and spend a lot of time straightening up and organizing someone else's house, so it's always exhausting to come home and think about cleaning up my own messes. this post is a great reminder that if i am spending all of my time cleaning up, then i will miss out on these special times with my husband and bunny (:
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day!
