Whoo hoo.
I love him so.
He is pure joy. This morning he woke up and came and snuggled in between me and Stephen Grande. We didn't say it our loud, but I'm pretty sure we were thinking the same thing - THANK YOU LORD FOR THIS PRECIOUS BOY.
We kicked off our celebrations with pancakes. And then we headed straight for the zoo.
Stephen Small is pretty passionate about trains and elephants. The zoo offers both. At one point on the train ride I started weeping, bawling, sobbing --- happy tears --- because he was having so. much. fun. It was the best.
A funny thing Stephen did yesterday. In the car on the way home from Costco I was letting him drink the last of my Diet Dr. Pepper from Sonic. Before I knew it, Stephen was rolling down his window (which I typically keep locked) and hurled that Sonic cup out the window, right in the middle of the interstate. I was horrified. And then I laughed so hard. Three year olds have no inhibitions - and so much to learn!
Happiest 3 year old birthday to you, Stephen! We have so many fun times ahead this year --- potty training, pre-school, speech therapy. I couldn't be more excited!

Yay for a fun birthday and a new 3 year old. :) I SO enjoyed following your day via instagram yesterday. It looks right up a 3 year olds alley.
