This is a catch up/ catch all post. Way back in early December before this went down, I spent the morning at Cottage Collections (my sponsor). I went to take updated photos for their website. By the way, the shop has moved. But don't worry, they did not go very far. It is next door to where the old shop was. So, good luck finding it - ha.
While I was there my friend/shop owner made me an espresso. It was a nice little way to spend a rainy morning -- in an antique shop, drinking strong coffee, taking photographs, while my mama kept my children. No complaints.
If you are local and are in the market for some gorgeous antique furniture or accessories, swing in and tell them I sent you there.

In other news, I have become a lover of toast - peanut butter and banana toast, avocado toast, tomato and goat cheese toast. Toast with _____ (whatever you like on it) can be the most decadent and satisfying meal, especially in an environment dominated by chicken nuggets and saltine crackers. So I guess what I'm saying is ....get your toast on.

Stephen and Laurie B. are in a full time, hands on, never take a nap at the same time mode. But I love them, and I'm really grateful to be their mama. I was really encouraged by THIS article on parenthood. Read it and take heart fellow parents. It is so refreshing.
The weather has been super warm the past few days. Outside has been calling our names.
We have enjoyed lots of "average" days. I've made lots of soups.

To wrap up this random post .... I 'd like to share a little photography project I'm working on. Have any of you heard of Project 365? It is a challenge to take 1 photo a day for a whole year. And since I almost do this anyway, I thought it might be fun to document my daily photos on the internet. Click here to see what I've got so far.My rules for this project are: there are no rules.
By the way, Stephen Grande made this swing - with one hand - while I ran out to the grocery store. I was impressed.
Tomorrow is Laurie Betty's first birthday, so I will be back soon with some birthday love.
Have a great week!
I love your 365 photo adventure! I believe I will join you....
